State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi stressed strengthening risk prevention and security maintenance to create a stable political and social environment for building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects, during his inspection tour to North China’s Shanxi province from Oct 12 to 13.

Zhao visited primary-level police stations, detention houses, law-enforcement and case-handling centers in Linfen and Taiyuan cities, and inspected the big data center at the provincial bureau of public security.

He called on strong efforts to maintain political security, social stability and public safety, particularly from now to the Spring Festival.

The applications of big data should be promoted to reform the public security sector, and professional training should be strengthened to forge iron-like police troops, he said.
