State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi stressed efforts to maintain the country's political security and social stability for the upcoming 100th anniversary of founding of the Communist Party of China.
He made the remarks at the national meeting of directors of public security departments and bureaus on Jan 18.
Reforms must be deepened in all aspects to forge a public security corps that people can trust and rely on, he said.
And all-out efforts should be made to ensure social security and stability to celebrate the 100th founding anniversary of the CPC, and to achieve high-quality development of public security work.
