State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi stressed consolidating the achievements of security and stability maintenance during celebrations and activities to ensure national political security and social stability.

Zhao made the remarks at a national meeting, held via video link on July 27, summarizing work to maintain social stability during celebrations of the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and commending models.

He called for promoting the spirit of heroes and models to encourage police morale.

Zhao also urged efforts to summarize the experience of security work, strengthen public safety management and prevent major risks.
