BEIJING, Jan. 12 -- China's road logistics price index slightly dropped week on week during the week from Jan. 8 to 12 amid milder growth of demand, industry data showed.
The country's road logistics price index dipped 0.07 percent week on week to 1,038.89 points in the period, according to a survey jointly conducted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the Guangdong Lin'an Logistics Group.
The sub-index for full-truckload logistics price, which primarily measures bulk commodity and cross-regional transportation, stood at 1,040.36 points, edging down 0.09 percent on a weekly basis.
China's road logistics demand registered slower expansion during the period, while the supply was generally sufficient, said the survey. It predicted that the index may continue to drop amid fluctuations in the next stage.
