BEIJING, March 29 -- Bond issuances in China totaled 4.71 trillion yuan (662.83 billion U.S. dollars) in February 2024, data from China's central bank showed Friday.
Specifically, issuances of treasury bonds came in at 750 billion yuan, while local government bond issuances amounted to 559.96 billion yuan, according to the People's Bank of China.
Financial bond issuances stood at 544.54 billion yuan, and corporate credit bond issuances reached 683.46 billion yuan.
Outstanding bonds held in custody were at 160 trillion yuan at the end of February.
