BEIJING, April 20 -- China's raw coal output fell 4.1 percent year on year to 1.11 billion tonnes in the first quarter of this year, official data showed.
In March, the country's raw coal output declined 4.2 percent year on year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the January-March period, China imported 120 million tonnes of coal, up 13.9 percent from the same period last year, the data showed.
