BEIJING, May 12 -- China's e-commerce logistics index, an indicator of logistics operations in the e-commerce sector, stood at 113.2 points in April, up 0.7 points from a month earlier, industry data showed.
Specifically, the sub-index tracking total business volume in the sector went up 1.3 points month on month to 127.7 points, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
The figure tracking business volume in rural areas also rose 0.2 points from the previous month to 127.9 points during the period.
China's e-commerce logistics continued to improve in April, and driven by holiday travel and pro-consumption policies in May, China's e-commerce logistics operation is expected to rise steadily.
