BEIJING, April 29 -- Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong co-chaired a wrap-up meeting of the Year of Law Enforcement Cooperation activities between China and Cambodia with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sar Kheng on Saturday.
Under the guidance of the important consensus reached by the two countries' leaders, Wang said the law-enforcement departments of China and Cambodia have made remarkable achievements in the Year of Law Enforcement Cooperation activities and accumulated valuable experience.
Wang said China is willing to work with Cambodia to faithfully implement the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries, further deepen cooperation in preventing political security risks, and strengthen cooperation in law-enforcement capacity building to better benefit the two countries and peoples, thus making greater contributions to building the China-Cambodia community with a shared future in the new era.
While speaking highly of the achievements made in the Year of Law Enforcement Cooperation activities, Sar Kheng said Cambodia is willing to work with China to implement the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries, continuously deepen the pragmatic cooperation in law-enforcement security between the two sides, and work together to build the Cambodia-China community with a shared future.
Wang and Sar Kheng jointly signed a work plan to continue to promote the Year of Law Enforcement Cooperation activities between China and Cambodia.
