Chinese farmers are in a rush grain harvest and planting, with 87.7 percent of the winter-sown wheat harvested from 17.8 million hectares of farmlands nationwide.
Central China's Henan Province, one of the country's main breadbaskets, has basically completed all of its tasks for the winter wheat harvest. The harvest work is also underway in east China's Shandong Province and northern Shanxi and Hebei provinces among others.
