With the Hangzhou Asian Games less than a month away, the first group of international athletes competing in the multi-sport event arrived in the host city. The Thai delegation, consisting of 15 players and coaches, departed from Bangkok and arrived at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. Local customs and border inspection authorities have opened exclusive channels for Asian Games participants. Smart gates that integrate health status verification, body temperature measurement and baggage screening functions have been put into use, making it easier for athletes to complete entry formalities. Also on this day, the renovation of 14 traffic lights within the Hangzhou Asian Games Village was completed. Images of the three adorable mascots have replaced the original human figures on traffic signs.
