BEIJING, Jan. 12 -- The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has issued a circular encouraging building a group of livestreaming bases for job hunting and hiring to support high-quality, sufficient employment.
Localities are required to set up such bases at public employment service venues. They are encouraged to work with universities, industrial parks, enterprises, human resources service agencies, and social media to satisfy various demands of job hunters and employers, said the circular.
The ministry urged local authorities to fully use the interactive strength of livestreaming and constantly improve functions, such as job promotion and resume delivery, to raise the efficiency of matching demand and supply in the human resources market.
Some online platforms have organized job fairs in livestreams in recent years. Through field visits, livestreaming hosts can introduce enterprises and posts to job hunters in a comprehensive, visual, and interactive way to connect employers and job seekers more directly and efficiently.
