People enjoy cultural charm during the May Day holiday in China

BEIJING, May 4 -- During the 5-day May Day holiday this year, China saw a surge in tourism as people explored various regions of the country. The continuous development of the tourism industry has led to an increased focus on cultural heritage, with regions creating distinctive projects to offer fresh experiences to tourists. This form of tourism, which combines travel with a deep dive into local culture and history, has proven to be popular and has attracted a growing number of tourists.
