NE China's Shenyang develops biomedicine and medical equipment industries

In recent years, Shenyang has created an environment to better develop biomedicine and medical equipment industries, laying a foundation to form medical industrial clusters. In 2023, Shenyang's biomedical and medical equipment industries achieved a total industrial output value of 28.16 billion yuan (about 3.89 billion U.S. dollars) with a year-on-year increase of 5.4 percent. Three national technology centers have been cultivated. In the future, Shenyang will increase its support toward innovation and promote the construction of leading pharmaceutical enterprises and related industrial parks. [Photo/Xinhua]
