China has sent two new BeiDou navigation satellites into orbit from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province. The two satellites are the 59th and 60th of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System. They are the second batch of Medium Earth Orbit satellites after the completion of the BeiDou 3 Navigation Satellite System in 2020.
