BEIJING, Oct. 18 -- Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng met with members of the international advisory committee of China Investment Corporation (CIC) on Sunday in Beijing.

Noting China's economy is generally stable and moving toward innovation-oriented and high-quality growth, He, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said China will firmly advance high-level opening-up and deepen financial system reform during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030).

He hoped the committee members will continue to offer advice on China's reform and opening-up and the development of the CIC, keep serving as a bridge, and actively support China's economic development as well as exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries.

Expressing full confidence in the prospects of China's economy and the development of its financial markets, the committee members said they stand ready to continue leveraging their strengths to contribute to deepening mutually beneficial cooperation.
