Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Guangzhou rail lines meet at Fengtai Station

Workers from China Railway Sixth Group are lining up and connecting tracksat Fengtai Railway Station in Beijing, on Aug 30. They are part of the transition work for the Beijing-Shanghai and Beijing-Guangzhou rail lines at Fengtai Railway Station. The old lines will be dismantled after their work is completed.Construction of the north-side station, passages, and baggage tunnels will also get started, creating a foundation for the formal operations of the two rail lines by the end of 2021.
