As a distinctive local industry, bamboo weaving has a long history in Longshan street. In recent years, while protecting the traditional craftsmanship heritage, the government actively guided the craftsmen to produce new products, such as bamboo baskets, chairs, ornaments and others, as demanded by the market. The bamboo products are sold across the country via online channels, increasing income for the craftsmen. [Photo/Xinhua]
