The China Railway Jinan Group has been boosting the business of its "Qilu" freight trains to Europe and other parts of Asia by steadily streamlining cargo flows in recent years. A total of 1,506 "Qilu" trains left Shandong in 2020, a year-on-year growth of 42.9 percent. These trains have served as "accelerators" to Shandong's opening-up under the Belt and Road Initiative.
