Wudongde hydropower station in SW China starts full operation

Power-generating units of Wudongde hydropower station in Southwest China on June 16, 2021. Sitting on the Jinsha River near the provincial border of Southwest China’s Yunnan and Sichuan, it is the seventh largest hydropower station in the world and the fourth largest in China. All 12 units of the station went into operation on June 16 after the last unit finished a 72-hour trial. [Photo/Xinhua]
