Work underway to repair southern Tongpu railway’s Changyuan River Bridge in Qixian county, North China’s Shanxi province, on Oct 8, 2021. As water levels continued to rise in the river, flood washed out roadbeds of the railway bridge over the Changyuan River. The railway had to suspend services and some trains were delayed or cancelled. By Oct 8 morning, repair work was still on. [Photo/Xinhua]
