Three Gorges Reservoir hits full storage capacity for 12 consecutive years

Ships pass through the lock of the Three Gorges Reservoir on Oct 31, 2021. According to the Ministry of Water Resources, at 8 am on Oct 31, the impoundment level of the Three Gorges Reservoir hit 175 meters, reaching its full storage capacity for the 12th straight year, laying a sound foundation for water supply, power generation, shipping and ecological protection for this winter and next spring.
