CTG cascade hydropower stations generate over 3t kW of power

The Three Gorges Dam and its power transmission lines on the left bank on May 8, 2022. By May 4, China Three Gorges Corp's (CTG) cascade hydropower stations of Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu, Xiangjiaba, Three Gorges Dam and Gezhouba in Yangtze River mainstream generated a total of 3 trillion kilowatts of electricity since operations began. At present, the six power stations boast 101 hydro-turbine generating units, with a combined installed capacity of more than 62 megawatts, approximately 16 percent of the gross national installed capacity.
