In recent years, Lanzhou New Area has leveraged its railway port, building a multimodal transport center and logistics distribution hub, linking countries along the Belt and Road, and built up multiple international railway lines. From January to July this year, the Zhongchuan North Railway Station logistics park launched 126 international freight trains, up 20 percent year-on-year. The goods traded via the trains cover basic industrial materials, agricultural and sideline products, daily necessities, machinery equipment and new energy vehicles, promoting the development of an export-oriented economy and high-efficient international trade channels.
