Main tower of rail transit Line 18 in Chongqing capped

The construction site of the Lijiatuo double-track bridge over Yangtze River for rail transit Line 18 in Southwest China’s Chongqing municipality, Sept 27, 2022. Built by China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group, the main tower of the Lijiatuo double-track bridge in the south bank of the Yangtze River for rail transit Line 18 has been capped. As part of the Chongqing rail transit Line 18, the bridge, with a total length of 1,306 meters, links Jiulongpo district and Lijiatuo, Banan district. The main bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with two towers and two cables, which crosses the Yangtze River parallel to the existing Lijiatuo Yangtze River Bridge at about 52 meters upstream.
