A double-track bridge over Lijiatuo Yangtze River in Southwest China’s Chongqing municipality completed its closure, Jan 12, 2023. Built by China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group, the bridge is a crucial part of rail transit Line 18 project in Chongqing. Spanning around 1,306 meters, it crosses Yangtze River parallel to the existing Lijiatuo Yangtze River Bridge. The bridge is designed as a four-lane municipal road along the upstream part, and a double-track rail passage along the downstream part. [Photo/Xinhua]
