BEIJING — A formation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Strategic Support Force (PLASSF) was reviewed on Oct 1 in a military parade in Beijing marking the 70th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

It also marked the first attendance of PLASSF, a new type of combat force for safeguarding national security, in National Day parade.

The PLASSF was established on Dec 31, 2015.
