Consumers help boost poverty alleviation effort in N China's Hebei

The local government in Haixing town has been striving for better poverty alleviation work, with consumption breaking new ground as an efficient method. They ushered in a new mode, aligning e-commerce enterprises with agricultural cooperatives, families living in poverty, and consumption boosting poverty alleviation. With special sections for this purpose set aside at shopping malls, the local government also launched online and offline displays and sales of products from agricultural cooperatives and poor families.
