BEIJING — Beijing's parks will limit real-time tourist numbers to no more than 30 percent of their maximum tourist capacity in the coming May Day holiday for the safety of visitors amid the COVID-19 epidemic.
Gao Dawei, deputy director of the Beijing Gardening and Greening Bureau, said on April 30 that all the parks in the city will also continue to halt large-scale activities.
To avoid gathering, the parks managed by the municipal authorities will adopt an online real-name booking system during the holiday from May 1 to 5.
Beijing has lowered its emergency response to the COVID-19 epidemic from the top level to the second level starting from April 30.
