The track-laying process for the Chengdu-Guiyang Railway, one of China's most important railways in the country's southwest, was completed on Sept 3.
The milestone was reached when the final 500-meter long rail track was fully installed in the Yingshanyan Tunnel located in Yunnan province's Weixin county at around noon on Sept 3.
The completion means the main railway section from Yibin in Southwest China's Sichuan province to Guiyang in Guizhou province will now enter the joint commissioning stage.
