China sent a new remote sensing satellite into space from its Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province on Sept 26. The Yaogan-36 was launched aboard a Long March-2D carrier rocket and has successfully entered its predetermined orbit. This is the 439th mission for the Long March series carrier rockets.
