BEIJING — Chinese provinces have been required to resume the production of medical resources for the prevention and control of the coronavirus epidemic, according to a circular issued by the State Council General Office on Jan 30.
The circular demanded immediate resumption of the production of medical resources including protective clothing, masks, goggles, negative pressure isolation ambulances, and medicines.
The State Council will dispatch personnel to major enterprises to supervise the distribution of materials, find difficulties the companies encounter in securing production, and supervise the quality of medical resources.
Enterprises engaged in the production of major medical resources are required to improve quality and report data including production capacity, and inventory, according to the circular.
