The General Office of the State Council issued a circular on April 22, stressing deepening government information disclosure to promote economic development and social harmony.
In order to promote steady and sound economic development,
government information disclosure concerning market entities, tax and fee cuts and expanding effective investment should be strengthened, according to the circular.
For social harmony and stability, information disclosure on regular epidemic prevention and control, stabilizing employment, and public enterprises and institutions should be further improved, the circular said.
The circular also called for efforts to deepen centralized disclosure of administrative laws and regulations, and to optimize policy consultation services.
Construction of platforms for government information disclosure should be stepped up and openness in grassroots government affairs promoted, the circular added.
