The State Council approved temporary adjustment of several administrative regulations and department rules in Beijing, according to an official reply to the Beijing municipal government, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Justice on Jan 10.

According to the reply, administrative rules on Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools, management of entertainment venues and administration of commercial performances, plus the 2024 special administrative measures for foreign investment access (negative list), will be adjusted.

The State Council urged related departments and the Beijing municipal government to implement the adjustments, and establish a management system that is in line with the plan for establishing demonstration zones to advance opening-up in the service sector.
