Premier Li Keqiang visited Ferry Innovation Works, the first privately owned service provider for mass entrepreneurship and innovation in Jilin province, during his inspection tour in Northeast China’s Changchun city, on June 16.
Referring to a giant anchor hanging in the company’s hall, the person in charge of the enterprise told the Premier that it symbolizes the beginning of entrepreneurship.
With zero threshold and costs for entrepreneurship, the company has helped incubate and coach more than 200 startups, including listed enterprises and national high-tech enterprises.
One of the makers expressed the hope for better financing support for small and micro-sized businesses, and Premier Li said that the government will channel more support in that regard to fuel their development vitality.
He added that Ferry Innovation Works should help each business maker play to their own strengths, and encourage them to help each other for more success.
