BEIJING — China's Ministry of Education (MOE) on Oct 10 said the country has around 28,000 full-time teachers for innovation and entrepreneurship education at colleges and universities, with another 93,000 part-time tutors.
The central finance has earmarked 880 million yuan (about $124 million) to build up demonstration zones for promoting the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and demonstration bases have been set up in 19 colleges and universities, said Wu Yan, head of the higher education department of the MOE, at a press conference.
Currently, more than 28,000 online and offline courses on innovation and entrepreneurship are available across the country, according to Wu.
