BEIJING — A Chinese health official said on May 5 that people need to pay attention to personal protection as the country embraces a peak of returning trips at the end of the five-day Labor Day holiday.
People also need to keep an eye on their physical condition, keep a proper distance and reduce the gatherings, noted Mi Feng, spokesperson for the National Health Commission, at a press conference in Beijing.
This year's Labor Day holiday runs from May 1 to 5, and Chinese tourists took 100 million domestic trips in the first four days, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
