BEIJING — China's Ministry of Education has launched a new round of undergraduate education evaluation and assessment for the next five years.
The new round of evaluation pays more attention to moral education in schools and fostering virtue among students.
The latest evaluation scheme has instituted new mechanisms including creating a negative list and assessing schools in different categories.
Institutions can choose their own evaluation plan based on the condition of school and development plan.
The evaluation is conducted by the Ministry of Education every five years and the assessment period this time is from 2021 to 2025.
