BEIJING — A total of 37 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland on Feb 22, the National Health Commission said in a daily report on Feb 23.

There were 374 confirmed cases still being treated, including one in severe condition, the report showed.

As of Feb 22, the Chinese mainland had reported a total of 89,852 confirmed COVID-19 cases, among whom 84,842 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery and 4,636 died of the disease.
