BEIJING — To date, China has completed the full coverage of provincial-level coordination mechanisms for the protection of minors across the country, said the Ministry of Civil Affairs on May 29.

All of China's 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps have established their leading groups or committees in charge of the protection of minors, with offices set up in provincial-level civil affairs authorities, the ministry said.

These groups or committees are all spearheaded by provincial-level Party or government officials, it said.
