BEIJING — China saw a total of 160 million domestic tourist trips during the five-day May Day holiday, down 30.2 percent from last year, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on May 4.
Tourism revenue reached 64.68 billion yuan (about $9.77 billion), down 42.9 percent from last year, according to the ministry.
The May Day holiday lasts from April 30 to May 4 this year.
