HANGZHOU — Vice-Premier Sun Chunlan underlined the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship education and called for enhancing the quality of talent cultivation on Oct 15.
Sun made the remarks at an "internet plus" innovation and entrepreneurship contest for college students, during her two-day research tour in East China's Zhejiang province.
She encouraged students to solidify ideals and convictions, temper their character and make more contributions while pursuing innovation and entrepreneurship.
During the tour, Sun visited local universities and inspected school construction and development, scientific research innovation and the work of talent cultivation.
Sun stressed efforts to deepen institutional reforms in colleges and universities and explore a path with Chinese characteristic for the development of higher education.
