BEIJING — The State Council, China’s cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of several officials on Nov 29.

Zhang Enxi was appointed deputy head of the National Coal Mine Safety Administration, replacing Yang Fu. Zhang no longer serves as the deputy head of National Public Complaints and Proposals Administration.

Wei Hongtao was named deputy head of the National Archives Administration, replacing Hu Wanglin, according to a statement issued by the State Council.

Li Fayi was appointed deputy commander of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, said the statement.

Huang Lanfa was removed from the post of deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
