During his discussion with deputies from South China’s Guangdong province to the 12th National People’s Congress on March 9, Premier Li Keqiang said that the province has a large economic volume, which is a strong driven force. He encouraged Guangdong to make more contributions to the country and promised the central government will give more policy support.

Premier Li expressed the hope that the province provides strong support against downward economic pressure, and becomes a role model in the reform and opening up.
