Employment lays the foundation for a country’s development and citizens’ well-being, and is an issue cared deeply by Premier Li Keqiang.

During his June 11 tour to Changsha, capital of Central China’s Hunan province, Premier Li inspected the employment situation at 58 Group.

58 Group is an internet-based company, and its subordinate online platform 58 Daojia provides on-site services, where customers can book baby-sitters, house cleaners, and movers. It provides about 2.1 million jobs annually.

After learning the company can use big data on employment analysis, the Premier said Internet Plus employment has high efficiency in allocating employment resources, becoming an important signal of employment trends and economic development.
