Premier Li meets with Thai PM

Premier Li Keqiang met with Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, who is in China for the first Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Leaders’ Meeting and the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2016, in Sanya, South China’s Hainan province, on March 23.

During the meeting, Premier Li said that China lauds Thailand’s cooperation with China as the co-chairman of LMC, to guide the building process of the new mechanism and make LMC as the model of regional cooperation.

The Premier also expressed wishes to begin the Sino-Thai cooperation on railway projects.
