State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi met with South Korea Prosecutor General Moon Moo-il in Beijing on Jan 25.

Zhao said China and South Korea have maintained a good momentum in relations and China is willing to work with South Korea to put in place the important consensus reached by leaders of the two countries, increase exchanges, and enhance cooperation in combating drug crimes, financial crimes, telecommunication fraud and online gambling.

He hoped the two sides will continue to carry out action on fugitive repatriation and asset recovery.

Moon Moo-il said South Korea hopes the two countries will enhance cooperation in law enforcement to protect the safety of people from both countries.
