State Councilor and Public Security Minister Zhao Kezhi stressed the importance of building a public security force that is loyal to the Party, serves the people and enforces justice, at a national teleconference on clean governance among public security organs.
The state councilor called for clean governance and a fight against corruption at the meeting to provide a strong support for the successful completion of the security mission of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
He called for efforts on anti-bureaucracy and anti-gang work, and for increased accountability of major security work.
Special efforts should also be made on personnel management, large-capital use, and law enforcement to win the anti-corruption fight, he added.
Zhao also stressed Party building and strict management for security forces at the meeting.
