BEIJING — “Celebration Nation”, a three-episode documentary focusing on traditional Chinese festival culture, is aired on several online video platforms from May 11.
The documentary features introductions to six major Chinese traditional festivals: Tomb-Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival, Spring Festival and Lantern Festival.
By visualizing traditional Chinese festival customs, the documentary will show how culture reflects traditional Chinese values of family and harmony, said Wan Ruoruo, producer of the documentary.
The documentary will also be shown at the Asian Film and TV Week during the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, which will commence on May 15.
The China Intercontinental Communication Center led production of the documentary.
