The Goupitan hydropower station navigation project began its trial operation in China's Guizhou on June 22.
The project adopts three vertical ship lifts linked by two intermediate channels to transfer ships.
The water level from upstream to downstream can reach 199 meters, while the waterway is 2.3 kilometers long.
