The State Council General Office issued a notice on Oct 27 to adjust leader group members responsible for the medical and health system reform.

According to the notice, Vice-Premier Liu Yandong will be the head of the group. Deputy heads are Li Bin, head of the National Health and Family Planning Commission; Xu Shaoshi, head of the National Development and Reform Commission; Finance Minister Lou Jiwei; Yin Weimin, minister of Human Resources and Social Security, and Jiang Xiaojuan, vice secretary-general of the State Council.
